The Ontario Linux Fest is looking for a few good sponsors.
The second annual Ontario Linux Fest will be held at the Days Hotel and Conference Centre - Toronto Airport East, on Saturday, 25 October 2008 and we are looking for sponsors in order to help us put on this exciting event.
If you join us as a sponsor you will be presenting yourself and your company to an audience of highly technical users and developers who are passionate about Linux and FLOSS. You could find new customers, create new fans who will spread the word about what you do, recruit highly skilled and enthusiastic employees, or form new partnerships with contributors to FLOSS projects and communities.
Toronto is the perfect Canadian center for hosting a Linux Conference. Toronto is truly a world class city with a diverse population and culture.

The conference itself is multi-track offering presentations, hands-on workshops, and Birds of a Feather(BOF) sessions. This variety ensures that the conference can appeal to a wide audience, include long time members of the FLOSS community and those who are new to it. Our keynote speakers in 2007 were Jon "maddog" Hall and Theodore Ts'o. We had a wide range of topics including OLPC, Xen, OpenMoko, KDE and GNOME.
If you join us you will get a logo on our website, and in the schedule booklet that will be distributed on the day. Our major sponsors will be mentioned in our audio promotion clips, and will have the opportunity to contribute materials to our attendee gift bags.

If you are an Open Source project or non-profit organization you can obtain exhibit space at the event at a nominal cost. All non-profit and F/LOSS applicants will be considered but space is limited.
